which forum and why?

Hello
I went over to RWG and found a lot of members from this forum. Why are there two that are essentially the same? Any rivality?

And I must disagree they are not essentialy the same IMO.
Neither of the "other" forums have warmed me as much as this place, the only real reason I could give for being a member of one of them is in regard to watch sales you may get rid of a piece quicker if its on more than 1 forum, and thats as far as I'd go.

I agree, actually i got member there before i became a RWI member. But i didnt get hooked there like i was here. Your right about this forum being more warm and cosy!

All of the forums have a different flavor... it's just the nature of the community and the staff in charge...

although this thread has been peaceful so far... I would hate to see any other forum trashed here... keep it civil....

Yes, that wouldnt make sense to trash another forum. Many of us are there too...

For what it's worth, I'm the admin of one of the other forums, yet I still spend quite a lot of time here - simply because RWI is a great board with some great people. Quite a few of the admin team here spend time on my home board too. I strongly believe that as a community we're stronger working together than we are competing

Each of the 4 forums have their own flavour and their own strengths and weaknesses. Many of us who have been around for a while are members of all 4, but we settle where we feel most comfortable. It's worth trying them all - there's plenty of knowledge and entertainment to be found

Actually RWI rocks because it has the most women. Although adding the fifth one over the weekend made the server crash, so that kind of sucked.

that is not the beer, it is my new netbook with mac os on it I see it now

Of the three rep forums, RWG1, Repgeek and RWI this one has the best overall mix of people, the best treated noobs and the best level of consistency in information and standards. They would love to see us fail. In fact they were taking bets yesterday when we went down.

what, there's FOUR forums? I thought there were only 3 main forums.

Although RWI was the last forum I suscribed to, it was the first forum that I became a VIP in.
