Ouch, got to hurt! The scrotum laceration I mean. Not the getting it presentable again.

Presentable? I'm scrupulous about most of my laceration repairs. But I have to admit, it's hard to get really excited about making a scrotum lac presentable. I mean, okay, this is probably the wrong thing to say in a forum of 99% male members, but when did a scrotum EVER look attractive?
Mines a freakin piece of art!! Two pears draped in the softest Corinthian leather.

Haven't seen the scrotum lac, plenty of fractured shafts though.
Broken shaft!?!?!?!?!?!?! That can happen?!?!?!?!?!? Man, have I been lucky all these years.

Thank you for ensuring that I will never be able to eat another pear again.

I'm sure it's just because your equipment resembles the trunk of an oak tree, isn't it?

Take it as a lesson. U admit u are greedy.

$500 for a breitling watch? How can that be? Unless is a faulty one and the seller with many successful transaction.

But usually, i buy only petty things from ebay and net. Even I was cheated, it just a small amount of money. So far so good. Never met a scammer.

I wish you luck, GasDoc (proctologist??). I think finding this guy in Asia is going to be next to impossible. He'll get back on the Bay with a different user name and continue to ply his trade.
I buy often off the Bay, but only from sellers with at least 3 years' and at least a 90% rating. I've never been scammed yet (I have a few watches to take to my watch smith for verification of the vintage movements, but so far all have proven to be authentic).
I did just pick up a vintage (1951) Omega Seamaster for a bargain. the seller checks out, but I'm still holding my breath on this one.
$500 is a relatively cheap educational fee.

Cheers!

Seriously, did you really think you'd get a gen Breitling for $500? You call it greed, I would call it just plain throwing your money away. You even had all the reasons not to give him your cash but you still did it. At best you would've got a rep Breitling that was being passed off as a gen.

I'm not condoning the behavior of the seller at all. What he did was fraudulent and illegal. He deserves to get busted and his head smashed in. But it could have easily been avoided with some simple common sense. I hope you recover your money at least from paypal or your credit card company.

Whenever I see people on the bay advertising brand new merchandise for way below their market price and they have few feedbacks or a low percentage, I always report them. Most of the time they will look into it and remove the auction.

Hey Gasdoc. I read this post on my telephone at work today. Just wanted to post and wish you luck. Sorry for your hardships. :( Breath a volatile anaesthetic through a facemask and all your trouble will be gone. :)

OK, OK...

Lets back this train up a little bit. Not sure I should have to defend myself here, I mean give me a little credit. It's not like it was a Buy-It-Now for $550 or something.

When I bid, it was at $500, with a lot of time left, greater than 24 hours. In my experience, the greatest increase in bid price is in the last hour or even the last few minutes.

I threw a conservative bid in for $550 to get a feel for the highest bidders price so far, assuming I would be immediately outbid and I would decide later to bid again in the last few minutes. Unfortunately, no one else bid.

Tell me you've never found an item you liked in your price range only to have it shoot up at the end.

The seller had several recent feedbacks, 100% positive with one recent watch sale, can't remember the price, but it wasn't cheap. And multiple purchases of exotic pens in the several hundred dollar ranges.

Give me a break...

@ drron, I am way ahead of you there... 8)

@ kimber, sorry for sounding rash, the last response wasn't really directed at you, but the whole episode is bothering me.
Which Kimber do you have? I have the Gold Match, stainless with factory walnut, and the magazine funnel.

I would be bothered too. No offense taken whatsoever. I really do hope at least paypal will get you your money back.

I have a Tactical Custom II. It's my first choice for concealed carry. Gold match is very nice btw.

I got an email from another ebayer that sold him a pen, but told me he never send the pen since paypal "averted" the transaction (although this guy left him positive feedback as a seller?)

Got the name, email, and mailing address for Thailand. Guess this is more complicated than I though, since none of the info matches what I found. Typical, Oh well.

Anyone that feels like they could do something with the data, let me know and I will PM them.

I would also be interested in learning how to use this information, if anyone wants to share. I always like learning new skills.

Updates to follow.

While you lot have been busy spamming up the thread (I thgought I was home for a while) Trailie has just been busy. Useing info supplied by the OP I have narrowed our friends location down to one city block. He is in one of the buildings on the lower side of the circled street. Or at the very least the Apt he has stuff mailed to is.

Wow, that is just so über-cool! (Well, at least apart from the fact that I don't know what city/country the buildings are located in...) :)

Try a bit of deduction of your own and read the filename. You can learn a lot from a file name.

i think he qualifies as a terrorist by these actions. ( 500$ Breitling....guilty !! )

send the target coordinates to watchbuff, he will use some Hellfire or Tomahawk missiles to wipe out the whole

terrorist nest !! problem solved.

Hi, you don't need to justify yourself. This could have happened to anyone and it's awful. I hope you find the bastard!! Best of luck with it.

Unfortunatly without a POP email addy there's not much more to do. At this point you realy need someone on the ground in BK to find out who lives at that addy.
There is very little public record info available for Thailand. If this was the US, Canada or parts of the EU I could have the names of anyone accosiated with the addy and done a search on the name (ya, prob fake but peeps are stupid). Most folk would be shocked to find out how much can be uncovered from a name and a location or DOB.
