Hi Guys,

My GMT Master II has just arrived from PT in less than 2 weeks!!!! Excellent service and a reply from an email whenever prompted! The watch is excellent and with Swiss ETA.

A big thankyou  Smithy37 for introducing me to this forum (and getting me hooked! ) and steering me in the direct of PT, cannot fault his service! also id like to thank Guru for also keeping me on the same track with PT, excellent advice all round.

Just need to find how to set the GMT hand now! what a NOOB!!!

As a new member of the forum, is the correct etiquette to now say "this thread is worthless without pics" hehe.

I am glad you have received your watch and you are happy with it. Now there is only the small problem of a fee to resize the bracelet

I do not know the answer to setting the GMT hand as I haven't seen one before, although I am sure someone on here will chime in and help you.

As for Pics, speak to Denise my amateur photograph wife. She is as hooked on this hobby as I am and would love to post your pics for you.

Enjoy your watch my friend!

On my Omega GMT you just turn the crown opposite of setting the date (i.e. pull half-way out and turn counterclockwise). It will also track with the hour hand when setting the the time normally, of course.

The only minor criticism I have is that the bracelet is a tad on the light size and it just feels a bit sharp and rattly, a norm for Rolex's, but after looking through this great forum I can see she just wants a good lube with baby oil all night long!

Another bit of advice is to put some loctite on the bracelet screws. They sometimes arrive loose or they sometimes come loose. You don't want an embarrassing moment where your screw falls out and your watch takes a dive.

Embarrassing, yes! Sometimes when diving, no one else around to see what happened. It is difficult to explain where your expensive dive watch is though! :?
