Fishers - need your help!

I am not a fisher but my WS has fishing as an hobby.
I am trying to help him to buy a PENN fishing reel. I got the catalog from PENN webpage and gave it to him. He choosed:

Penn Spinfisher SSm Spinning Reel 950SSm

Now I am having dificulties in finding a good web store to buy it for him. (I believe it is not possible to buy directly from PENN webpage).

Can anybody advise me? I don´t know anything about fishing and have no experience with these types of products.

That's a nice reel. You might try eBay. They're usually a few on sale there. Probably find them on Amazon also.

Now mind you, I know nothing about buying fishing reels, but I do know all about searching and buying stuff I know nothing about on line.

Easiest way for me is to just go to http://www.google.com, enter the item I want to buy, and it usually brings up a list of stores where it's available. Then when I find what I want in the store, I even google the store name + coupon to look for on line store coupons. But that's an advanced step.

Well, I don't know about skills. But I did have adolescent stepchildren and they liked all sorts of crap that I knew nothing about. So I had to get good at buying it anyway. And in case you need to know, I also know where to buy obnoxious shoes, clothing, guitars, jewelry for boys with piercings, hockey equipment, and some small weaponry.

During my 3 year assignment in Burlington Vermont we went Salmon fishing during the whole Spring & Summer ( it's like the golf sickness) and I bought all my Penn reals from Cabelas.
Largest Salmon was a 42 pound cought near Poulaski, Oswigo County.
85 feet down on a red lure..........I had him mounted and he is hanging in our studio.

I still have my Rod and Reel hat.
