Not sure if it's "your dream" or not but the IWC Cousteau is blue, day/date, rubber, and I believe it's 44mm.

Well you're out of luck if you are looking for a 44-46mm. There are some IWCs, Tags etc that will have the Day Date at three. But they will have Chronographs.

Hmm, 44mm daydate... Is the IWC or the Patek grand complication with moonnphase considered a day-date watch?The daydate functions are there and there are extra complications to play with..

Yeah, agree wtih FM and Alvin. Try those pieces and see if you like em. Guess when you mentioned daydate, everyone jumped on the Rollies wagon.
