Planet ocean chrono with correct sub dial spacing coming?

Some time ago I heard that a Planet Ocean chrono with correct subdial spacing (and working chronos) was in the works. Saw a few pics out on Josh's site : http://www.jpc8118.com/0520b-p-5866.html

Any thoughts/comments?

it is a 7750 auto. There's a picture of it. Seems like some of the parts are different...

could be interesting times ahead...as this opens up new opportunities for repping, if the movt proves to be reliable

This is indeed an exciting development.... once subdials started being moved for secs @6,3, and finally, it really opens the door for some new stuff...

It's great to see that it will have double AR as well because this is crucial to the overall look of the Planet Ocean's...

Wait until a member has torn down the movement for inspection.
I can't fathom how they could get the spacing correct without adding extra gears.

But 2009 could be a good year yet!

Yes, it needs new gears to move the secnods to a different positions.

I would like to review the movement.... :roll:

Afetr an inspection of the pictures:

- Omega logo is incorrect.

- pearl color incorrect.

- sunken DW.

I totally agree. I might have to buy the Quartz version to hold me over. Reliable as hell, cheap and relatively accurate, provided you don't care that it's not automatic.
