that blue is stunning.
I assume its the same blue that Tudor use on the bronze Bucherer…...

I do not know. This is what I call Burple. It changes depending on the light. In full sun it is full Sunburst purple in less light it is blue. It is a 1984 or 1986 16803 dial ( I cannot remember, the clasp is 1984 so I get them mixed up lol) they are a love / hate dial. They only produced the 16803 for about 2 years before they went to 16613. I just love this one :)

yes, Burple describes it well, it just looks so good, and as you say, it changes depending on the lighting.
its colour is the main reason I keep the Bucherer, despite struggling to find straps for it.
But one on the way to give it a new lease of life.....

You now have me looking at the Bucherer. I like these dials and I like bronze.

Me too, and I like Tudors, and it would be a no-brainer were it not that on the contrary I don't like 3,6,9 dials and I like a date window...

your only showing off n0bby because you can count without having the numbers on the dial.....
I actually like the fact that I don't have to reset the date when its been left dormant....

I never had a Tudor. I do not love date windows though.

just be aware that if you have big wrists, they just fit my 8" wrist on the last hole on straps that came with it.
Tudor gen straps seem to be the same, but managed to find lots of options on deeper research on ebay…..

I love the solidity and design of Tudors. And the fact they're a "stealth Rolex"! I've had 5, but sold 2 (a 2 tone BB and a PVD BB).

I really shouldn't love date windows because of everything that can go wrong/wonky with them, but for some reason I'm missing them on my non-date watches more and more.

I'm definitely in the market for a bronze watch tho. The patina is unbeatable.
