Its Hollywood's big night tonight, and a great night for watch spotting

I've been watching most of the top picks today, although I've still got to watch Grand Torino before the show starts. So far Im liking Slumdog Millionaire as the best picture and Micky Rourke as best actor. Still no opinion on best actress.

What are you guys picking in the main categories?

Grand turino is a VERY good movie. It has to win something for sure. Slumdog millionaire is good too and i know Mickey will win something. That was an amazing performance he did in the wrestler.

Slumdog is the best movie of the year in my opinion
it had romance, it had action, suspense! everything in one it is one of the most artistic and innovative films i ever seen in my life...
towards the end of the film it even had me really into the who wants to be a millionaire game.

Maybe now that they gave that druggie Ledger his Oscar we can move on now.

Sean Penn can go to hell. Rourke should have got the Oscar for the Wrestler.

He's a mess of a man, but that was a great performance.

I hope he learned a lesson. If he sticks his head up the ass of the Socialist estaiblishment for the next year or two they will throw him a bone. But I'm talking a commitment here. Don't think he's got it in him.
