A QC picture from another gentleman here compared to my RG on the right. The lume looks the same shade, except mine has some tint from the rose gold.
I think it's all fine! I can't wait till we all get our pieces

I should also note it looks like my QC pictures had less light involved so everything looks darker in general to more recent QC pictures. Li must be stepping up.

Isn’t that what they call the yellow gold model even though it’s a bit rose colored? Afaik the new seamaster 2018 from vsf is only made in yg for now, right? At least Li told me so.

I wouldn't say it's an imaginary problem as it was definitely bad in previous batches but it seems like these RG models don't have the issue which is great.
Yellow gold is also just recently released

It looks like he is mistaken then. He told me there is only YG for now but https://puretimewatch.io/catalogsearch/result/?q=seamaster+300m
is listing both YG and RG.

Damn you got your QC FAST!I think this looks a bit reddish but supposedly it’s YG. Possibly it’s the lighting.

Even without comparing it next to mine, I can tell that that is YG. It’s definitely “yellower” than the pictures I’ve been staring at for a week.

My markers are dead white. Most likely this issue has to do with specific lighting. Anyway, this looks amazing.

Look how washed out the metal is, compared to the picture two posts above it.
Shade the metal down to match the more naturally lighted one above, and I bet the markers would look the same too.

. I can’t wait to get mine. I just need to sort out the YG/RG issue to be sure I’m getting YG like I want
