Will a 44mm fit me?

Hi I did use the search but didn't find anything of the sort so please don't slap me for this.

I have 6.5" wrists and normally wear a 40mm case diameter watch. 42mm works as well but just a wee big.

I just found out about Lum-Tec and want one bad. they are 44mm for the most part.
Is there anyone here with similar size wrists and owns a 44mm watch?

If so can you throw up a couple of pics for me?

TIA

Stop by a local watch retailer and try on a few larger watches and see what you think. After wearing 44mm watches for quite a while, anything smaller than that looks really small to me now.

As mentioned above, you can always head to your local A.D. and try on watches that interest you. Some watches will wear bigger or smaller depending on case design. I have a 6.75 inch wrist and I highly favor 44mm Panerai's. They sit on my wrist perfectly.

Tranman there are plenty of members with 6.5" wrists that can pull off 44mm PAM's without any problem so it is likely that you can wear a 44mm watch but various brand watches in the same size can fit and wear differently. Don't know how the Lum-Tec's fit though so hopefully someone with a smaller wrist who has one can weigh in with an opinion.

Haha. That would be funny. If you're planning to give it away though don't send it to him send it to my GF. She'd appreciate it more. She has a modded first run 050 and loves it. I have another one that I snagged but sadly I can't find the parts to finish converting it to an 049/051 :(

@CC Thanks dude! Awesome pics and awesome collection. Thanks for the myriad of watches, it does give me a lot better idea. I especially like the Luminors and the Rollie. You guys are right, a 44mm by one maker looks bigger or smaller next to another. I guess it's just like buying shoes.

Your IWC looks more like a 40mm on your wrist, while the AP looks like a 50mm! maybe its just the big pic. The Rolex looks really nice as well. Whom did you get that one from?

I've always not understood the fascination of Panerai, but it's starting to definitely grow on me.

Good, now I won't feel so self conscious about my girlie wrists. haha. Maybe I need to post pics of me holding guns or something.

The Rolex is your standard Noobmariner. They can be had from our dealers for about $100 give or take. It's a perfect starter watch as you cant go wrong ;)

My IWC Slevin is fits the best on my wrist. It suits me perfectly with my wrist size. Although the AP Roo is only 42mm, the case design makes it wear like a 45-46mm tank.

Cheers!
