Well Guys, The info on this E-Bay site I was looking at today (url: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ROLEX-Mens-Sea- ... viewItemQQ)concrening DEEP Sea Dwellers is certainly differant than what any store I've seen in our forum, or any place else has said. The seller sure appears to be for real,& so does the info about the watch. So how long were we supposed to believe the new case was 43mm, not 45 ? I guess the rest is as we've been led to believe, but come on 3s don't look like 5s, do they? What if "they" told us Subs were 38mm, & we were buying 'em up like cold beer on a hot day ? Wouldn't we feel dumb, or lied to when we found out ? Yeah, if this was the only s*** in the game, no big deal, but could every Rep seller have made the same mistake ? Or are we considered to stupid to find out, or w/o options ? I thought youall should, & would like to know. If this wasn't a "secret" and it was just me that was unaware,......sorry. [smilie=cussing.gif] Check out the price of this BEAUTIFUL gen, damn that's a new Sportster!!!!! 8)

These types of things are why I get so frustrated. It's not 45. He probably got that number from measuring the CGs. And you should be doing your own resreach. Do you really think we believe it when they tell us that they're watch is a 1:1 Ultimate because they bought a 10k gen to tool with that they never can produce? Well some do but the point is don't ever rely solely on what the dealers tell you. 8)

Try reading all the advert not picking out what you think will cause drama!

Don't see the case hanging out under the bezel do you? Obviously he is including the CG in the measurment at 45mm same as the rep

Yes as Hooli said use multiple resources. Preferably from someone who has actually put a caliper to it as well. The dealers certainly don't. If you read my reviews you will see I often show the measurements with and without CGs. And honestly the measurements with are the ones you should take into consideration when buying a watch. But just remember one thing. Don't expect perfection. A good example would be a YM. In gen form that is a 41mm watch. But in rep form it is 40mm. Why? ...Getting infos infos from eBay is one of the stupidiest things you could do.

You had your good intentions, nobody questioning that, mate, but eBay sellers not everytime use the same ways to post specs of what they´re selling, or nor are so trustful too. As many other places, that just don´t know exatly what they´re selling =)

there has been a brand new one still in the plastic on the rolex forum for a week now @ 8,000.00 and it is being ignored. i am seeing them for 7,600.00 and not selling, they are way way over priced, many buyers are unhappy with them and trying to get rid of them. they are for sale everywhere.

i guess i should have been more specific by quoting your original post. you talked about how much the guy wanted for it, (10.150.00) and commented it was as much as a new sportster. i was showing they are readily available for much less money because they are not popular at all with the rolex crowd. the watch has been a sales failure for rolex.

OH SH**!!! I just got back from "The Offical Rolex Website", ie: rolex.com, & I found out for sure you all were, are correct about the SDDS case size-43mm, for sure. We knew that by now anyway right? ...Old news that the Yacht-Master II was the biggest watch made by Rolex since it´s release, but funny thing on it, is that the Yacht-Master II always was advertised by Rolex itself by being a 43mm watch. even on catalogs.
Now this? ....Rolex advertising the YM-II as a 44m watch? What´s this...
I couldn´t help to say that these new features and browsing method of the Official Rolex Website is awesome...I really liked it.
