hey all, my mrs is looking for a new watch and that set me off on one (i am happy with my skyland so havent been on the forums in a bit lol) and i thought it an idea to maybe get a rep or 2 for her as she doesnt really know what she wants
her eagle eyes spotted an ad for a new daytona on perfect clones and after me saying no, i opened the page to find it is a to-be-released 29j movement

now, 1 or 2 have had a bit of success graphite lubing their secs at 6 movements, so will this be a massive improvement or is it a red herring you reckon?

great looking watch, i want one now. i guess the only way is to get one and see if it works lol but has this movement been used in other models already?

Wait out for about another week. Francisco has ordered the 'new' movement Daytona, and I've sent him my Portuguese with the 'new' movement. He is going to see if indeed they are more reliable or not, and posts the results on here.

very interesting.. i personally think its all bullshit jandrew marketing, but if its true, and actually a properly jewelled movement then i will order one right away. I would LOVE to have a daytona that actually works. You would think that one of the most popular Rolex watches on the market, would be properly repped by now? Hopefully this is it.

I would like to know where in this movement the 4 additional jewels have been placed.

Movement guru Walt Odets states that even with the real Valjoux 7750 the chrono's should not be over-used unless it is serviced regularly. So who services their a7750 regularly anyway?

taking an interest in these Daytona's
My ud has a gen white face one he paid about $10k for and I saw a stainless one with a sweet nband with polished mid links on a guy at a restaurant I was at . he was back to back with the lady I was waith was back to back with him. he had his arm stretched out behind him and I can clearly see the watch with a sweeping seconds at 6. i figure it was a gen..I cant spot a rep that well from that far. besides Daytona's are not my specialty.
If A reliable movement is made then sign me up.
