I do national sales and marketing for small and medium sized wineries. I am 65, live in one of the most beautiful valleys anywhere (Napa Valley) and travel @145 days a year and I am very tired.

I vote that the next GtG should be at a winery in Napa Valley. :D

Slow down Roger and don't work so hard...2 tablespoons a day of Pomegranite concentrate. :D

Plus I like her because it took less than 2 days before she had a full understanding of Seanf's particular habits and leanings. Very astute.

And I like brtelec because he was able to sum up seanf's leanings in such a succinct way as to make it a perfect signature line.

(And I like you too, Mr. Zoso, because you're the one who made me the avatar with the dual pistols and the armpit boobs. Even if it didn't make the finalist cut, it did require more personal effort on your part than the avatars that gave my teddy bear nightmares.)

sorry D4ME, for downloading you need fast network components.   To store data you need terry byte, not flops.........

This computer is at the National Nuclear Security Administration in the Department of Energy.
It can do 1.000 trillions of operations per second and it is used for simulation. Jobs which took
20 h with the last generation of Supercomputers now only take 4 hours.

Roadrunner has 122400 cores, ( CPU's running with Linux in parallel) the price is about 133 Million USD and they use the computer for simulating how nuclear materials age in order to predict whether the USA's aging arsenal of nuclear weapons is safe and reliable. Other uses for the Roadrunner include the sciences, financial, automotive and aerospace industries.

If someone would ask me agian if I would do the same career I would say no. From todays view I would go to Glasshuette and learn the watch maker business. But it is also true that you shound not make your hobby to your job.
