Hi everyone. I'm new here. I love watches. Allow myself to introduce ummm... myself. Anyways. I've been a replica fan for a number of years, but of course they allll suck compared to the ones here. I have 2 replica rolex's and 1 panerai.

I however, purchased from Ruby a UPO 45.5. I'm not sure what to expect though.

Always looking for tips.

You can probably expect to buy many many more reps in the near future

Personally I haven't spent much time in the VIP area. I just donated because I appreciate that this was the first site rep site I came across that I really enjoyed and I found 3 of my favorite dealers from here. But you can get first crack at some watches in the VIP sales area.

I'd have two reasons to donate. 1. Like you said. I appreciate the advice here. But I haven't been on here to benefit from that yet. and 2. Screamin' deals.

So... can anyone tell me whats in there? or should I just wait for # 1 above? LOL.

There are some deals to be had in VIP on a pretty regular basis. Often it is an active member cleaning house and getting rid of multiple watches from their personal collection (there is a limit on the number of watches an individual can sell in the regular sales area per month). There are other resources, though, that are quite useful, such as movement reference charts, etc.
But I encourage you to donate if you find this site both helpful and entertaining. It's worth your support to keep it alive.

Welcome to the forum. The primary reason for most donations by the VIP members is to keep this place alive. We all got here through a series of events and decided we had found a home. There are always some great used watches for sale, and some knowledgeable brains to pick. There is also just some really great people on here that you will enjoy talking to. Donations are just a way to show that you appreciate the community, and if you hang around enough you will have it come back to you in spades. Remember though the greatest thing you can contribute here is your active participation! Enjoy your time here.

I'll chime in here. I donated because of the wonderful advice I received as a noob. After that I used to peer into the VIP section once in a while, but haven't been there for a long time. I seem to get everything I need from outside the VIP area but don't for a second regret my donation.
