Well I am getting on the forum in between the intermittent outages of my connection. We are tied up at the dock her in Port Fourchon, that is pronounced Fooshawn. Here are some pictures of the dock area yeasterday and today.
These pictures of from yesterday when the water started in and the winds were about 35 miles an hour. The road is between the power lines.
These pictures are from today with the 65 to 70 mile per hour winds. We are in no real danger. Our biggest concern is the bits we are tied to washing out and letting go. In that event we will just drop any of our 4 huge anchors and ride it out. If you notice the Port-a-john in picture 2 is missing in picture 4. We stood in the wheel house and watched it hit us at ramming speed!
It went under the vessel and popped up on the other side. It was pretty funny.
