The DW looks fat still...they did a good job on the 2824 DW in the SD43 why cant they do the same...

True. You would imagine that the printing process for the numbers on the datewheel would be the same so why the inconsistency?

Well at least the date is centeralised, that's a plus point i guess. The DW printing was inconsistent for the SD43 as well...from the ugly V1 font to the better v2. There was a member that mentioned about variation in DW fonts in gen, a gen comparison will be good.

Highly unlikely. You can swap a 3135 for 2824 (with mods), but not the other way, the 3135 would not fit.

Even if the 2824 case fits the 3135, you would need to clip the dial feets, a new set of hands and DWO.

Ok, thanks for the information. Thats bad.
The 36mm is too small for me. I wish I could do a superfranken 41mm DJ project. But it would need the SH3135 for GEN Hands / Reability.

Imo you dont need a super franken with the ARF DJ41. The 2824 should be reliable enough, if you swap for a gen eta with H4 pinons you can fit gen hands, like 2824-2 used in TCs. With a gen DW and xtal you're good to go.

Honestly, the watch looks beautiful, and other than the DW is very close to the gen. The SEL's look decent to me (just need to appropriately QC), and the dial is stunning. The measurements, quality, and finish of the watch are similar to gen (as is the case with most ARF watches).

It just needs a gen xtal and less bolded DW, and this is good to go.
