So I have read numerous discussions on the subject of "who has the best sub" here and the other forums. A recent review by Tribal of the Euromariner seems to pretty much provide an answer to that question.

But I don't think I've seen a definitive answer on "Who has the best Yachtmaster".

Has there been any discussion on this subject?

Thanks.

Rolex of course....swissaddict hit the nail on the head though. Bk's YM for the money is probably the best option there is. I have one (though it's on the way back from getting some small issues addresses, another advantage of bk he backs his work) as well as a BK Sub and GMT-II and am going to be sending my EXP-II's, TT Sub, and LV Sub for him to work his magic on. By-Tor has a great review of the YM here:

BK...... If you dont want to drop that kinda $$$ the noob is pretty darn spot on.. Although you will be rolling the dice these days it seems. If you order a noobyacht, just hope for the best or just get on from BK and save the trouble. :)

BK for sure..

if you buy from another dealer make sure its the 520117 serial number watch. The Noobfactory is the best by far.

Buying a NOOB Yachtmaster is a gamble these days. You may receive something that is entirely different than what you've seen in the reviews. This decline in quality needs to be discussed more in the community.

I had Narikaa pick me up a MBW last year at this time. It is very-very nice. An investment, but nice. I have 4 Y-Masters now. BK is very nice and the wait it about 60-days.

Good luck,

Matt

4 Yachtmasters? Wow! So would you say the MBW is the nicest of the lot? By the way, is "MBW" the same as an "MBK" from MBK Plaza in Bangkok? I'm still a bit confused as to where an MBW comes from. I understand MBW stands for "Maria Best Watch".

I've had the "perfect" version from Trusty for a while now. The dial color is somewhat yellowish so I had just changed the dial to the more silver and sparkly dial from Angus. Looks good now but I'm still not happy with the rehaut on those "perfect" version.

For me the one from the MBK Mall is best - However, the dial is a bit creamy (yellow like you said) vs. the sparking Silver-Plat-Ros it should be. I should really swap dials with the Noob.

I swim with my MBW all the time, no problems, the weight feels right etc.

All bk's watches are "Noobs" and come from that factory... bk adds some small mods which make them more accurate... but they're the same base watches.

Personally, I think that's the only YM worth buying... with or without bk's mods.
