what are ya'lls thoughts on this new line of watches?

I was reading a magazine today at work and there was a write up of this new watch line. they are all automatic and I think for the most part they look really good. they are dirt cheap $400 - $500. the store owner and I were talking last week about about trying to find a cheap but good and nice line of watches to replace the crap line we carry now. It just looks tacky to have a watch area that hold MB, WR, and Bulova. Anyway what are ya'lls (and yes I said ya'll) thoughts on these? Thanks for the input.

Looks more or less like the exact same watches that are sold under the Ingersoll brand in Germany. Seems to be quite popular at the moment. All Chinese movements of course.

Interesting. To me, they look like a legal replica maker. Their Debut II line is a direct rip off... err... homage to Breguet. Their Debut I looks like a Jaeger LeCoultre. The Rene looks more like a Franck Muller than a lot of our Franck Muller reps do.

Kind of reminds me of CTI. They said Swiss Made. Fact was the watch maybe had a single Swiss part in it and was assembled in China. They were beautiful reps (Breitling and Vacheron and so on.) with the CTI brand name IMO. They sold for $65.00 with a suggested retail of 395.00 and higher. Which was laughable.

These are distributed by this company who gets their watches from millinsmart. I looked into creating a line of tourby's @ $300.00 per unit and sell them for $500.00 on Ebay I would have to come up with $8k to do it and just not that interested in boxing up 30+ watches to send off to God-knows-where.

I read somewhere that the cheap ass Steinahart ot Stauer watches sold in Motor trend and other guy mags are wholesaled @ $22.00 per piece avg and fetching $80.00 and up.
