I'm heading out this fall through London (have to visit Gieves & Hawkes and others while I'm there) on to various countries in the Med.

Any sources or notable locations to look for?

Gieves and Hawkes, oh? If there's a habit worse than rep watches, it's got to be bespoke suits and shirts. The never ending quest for the perfect tailor (assuming you don't have deep enough pockets to fly to Savile Row or Naples for custom fittings), exact shoulder fitment and construction, the correct amount of drape. That was my obsession prior to watches, but found it hard to justify when I only wear a suit and tie a few days a month. And then the shoes...that could be another illness in of itself! That reminds me, the Barneys Warehouse sale...

Yes, ? 1 Savile Row, not one of the off-the-rack spots.
Might say hi to Davie and Son at ? 38 and see how I like them. I've heard good things. A breeze through Henry Poole & Co. if I have time, it's almost obligatory.
I'll spend a bit of time with them in late September, and then pop by on the way out mid October to pick up and verify fit.
I'll probably only have one or two items, for similar reasons to yours; past the whole dress up stage - don't have to do it any longer. Just for fun, really - and the occasional occasion  Maybe a nice dinner jacket.
I hear you on finding the good fitment; shoulders and chest are my curse. If I hear "athletic fit" once more, I'll resign myself to wifebeaters from now on

But my question is about reps; seems like it might be a dry run in that respect. Oh well, I'll pick some timepiece up, and show when I am back.
Still open to suggestions, however.
