When I got home, I found the Steinhart strap in the mailbox. Just fitted it to my IWC Top Gun (bit of a squeeze because it is 22 mm instead of 21) and attached a PVD thumbnail buckle I had in my watchbox. The result:
Didn´t wear a watch today for the whole day, except for going to the bookstore at night for a quickly overview on what´s new...

...and while typing I´m wearing my 16710 GMT-Master II "Coke" [Black/Burgundy]...but not going to post pics of it now.

here's my latest aquisition : a CD 2007 quartz. This one (unlike the previous I bought on ioffer) has a steel caseback (against fake wooden sticker for the other). Looks great, but still not correct from the replication point of view.
It is NOT the same case as the 7750 version, although close. Sellers saying so are wrong.
Not speaking about the movement, the differences come from the crystal (looks like plexi) and the strap (smooth but more than good) and its fixation (push pin instead of the usual IWC button system). And of course the caseback.
Very satisfied on the general aspect however, it does not feel cheap at all. But be careful, have it carefully QC'ed, the previous I bought on iOffer had many small issues (dust under crystal, flaking paint, irregular spinning of the inner ring)
