ZF Calatrava is out

After much vacillation I have finally placed my order, rose gold of course (apart from anything else I already have a white metal 5107 and 5227, adding another white metal Calatrava would be a bit much)!

Is there a decent 5107 out there, or are you referring to Gen?

There isn’t really a decent 5107 rep out there anymore, I managed to snag one about four years ago from a factory which then closed down, I’ve never seen another one so not sure how many are out there but my guess is really not many...

With any luck ZF might get round to making one, the crown guards are such a nice feature it’s a shame the 5296 doesn’t have them!

Don’t let the 5227 go mate, very different watch to the 5296 and such a stunner!

I’ll also be dropping Sebastien an email over at CF for a strap, but as you know I’m quite the traditionalist so mine will be chocolate brown and high gloss

I just measured the strap: buckle piece: 7,25cm / holes piece: 11,5cm. The strap has a 21mm lug width and 16mm buckle width.
The holes start at 5,7cm, starting from the lug end, and are 7mm apart. For the sake of completedness: the watch is 46mm from lug-to-lug.

Just got my wg 5296. All I can say is WOW! Hats off to ZF buying the gen. The details on this thing are amazing. I am 100% going to get the rg version. Amazing rep. Even the strap is not terrible
