Not exactly a recent excellent, but I've always thought the "mens" J12 was terrible.

They could make it 55mm and it would still be a womans watch IMO.

I agree on the HBB. It became a trend and people were foolish enough to spend over $1k for a rep. (Sorry if you are on e of the fools)

I persoanlly like the Band R's for it's no- nonsense style and just being functional. It's all a trend. The PAM's have been around for years and the last few years they have gained popularity. Someday smaller watches will be envogue like the way the "skinny tie" makes a comeback every so many years.

IMO the price has nothing to do if a watch is ugly or not.
I own 9 PAM but after a while they all look the same and sometimes I am getting sick of them. That is the time to put something else on the wrist and then I go for a more modern watch.

Well, I'll stand next to you and suffer the same punishment.
I feel the same way, despite having owned a gen.
Too damn small, and unfortunately too much a look-at-me shallow status symbol these days.
As one of the local watch retailers (who actually sells them) told me one day while I shopped, they are "the non-thinking man's Swiss watch".
Decent watch, but overblown IMO.

it's ok to not like them. like everything else in the world everyone likes something different. imagine how boring the world would be if everyone was the same. :D
