Ever get pissed at yourself for "letting one get away"

Not sure if this goes in the gen category.
I have beenwanting a Tourbillon in the worst way. Looking on Ebay, the forums, etc..
I came across an interesting piece called the Louis Bolle Citadel:

Not sure what this company is, or where they originated, maybe someone here could enlighten me.
I fell in love with this watch on Ebay... I was bidding and had a snipe ready to go. 30 minutes left in the auction 2 days ago and no bidder.....hmmmmm. I bid the minimun $450.00 and waited.......I had asnipe in for $500.00 just in case.

2 seconds to go...I get out sniped for $510.00.....F U C K!

So the search continues...Im stilll hunting in the $500.00 range so if anyone has one ...let me know.
I will be looking for this one high and low...... it had a power reserve indicator and a date indicator....nice face....decent band and a great gift/display box...... I was pissed, then my 3717 came in not working and that added insult to injury.
Now the 3717 is working perfectly and I ordered a aday and date wheel from cousins to get it "closer" to the real deal. Kent from Everest gets it next, so that's life. Always wanting the one that got away.

I saw that Steinhausen. I just feel douchy like I ordered it from Motor Trend magazine...... I like the Bolle for the date feature and the power reserve.
Im gonna call the company to see if they have any stashed away.

I picked up the Fiber-Tour that River was offering. It lacks the date and power reserve but it is really a very nice piece.

tourbillons are really nice...I am still w/o one in my collection...but will definitely add it one day...

there is a dealer on RWG II (Homer) and he offers some of the nicest tourby's that you can get...they are unbranded and can be had in SS or RG...

And if you are reluctant in buying from a dealer on RWG, he is also on ebay... Easy to find, he sells the same articles.

I agree that a neutral (unbranded) watch is not disturbing as far as Tourbillons are concerned.
But if you're not against a replica, you can get the same Breguet Regulateur I reviewed a while ago for 500-550 USD from Timesshop (Watchmark).

Louis Bolle is one of these "new" brands which developp on ebay (half the brands there do not exist in shops). Most likely Chinese things, which is not bad in itself, as we all know :lol:
At least, Chinese movement, this is 100% sure.

I bought one like this new in 1990 for $1000-

...kept it for 10 years and noticed through online auction sites that it was not appreciating in value. Sold it for $1000. I just saw one sell for $5100 on the Bay, and I'm kicking myself! Arty
