Well, some of it was on topic because of the name of the watch..
It was a classless hijacking of a dealer thread and I am not too impressed by the commentary..
I dont think to say "on this forum" is accurate.. more so.. "in this thread" as people dont walk around sining Deutschland, Deutschland über alles and hailing atrocities of the reich.

I cleaned that thread up, because that discussion had absolutely NO PLACE in Hont's thread. Dealer threads are open to membership posts so that they may ask questions about the particular product being offered. Unfortunately sometimes members abuse that privilege.
However, I would disagree that simply discussing the Nazi movement qualifies as racism and hatred. There is no doubt that the Nazis practiced racism and hate (as well as terrorism), but I didn't see any racist or hate filled language/comments in that thread.
Though, this thread is what drew my attention to Hont's thread, so I thank you for that.

Despite the fact that this watch is a italian prewar design, it also has the wrong Name.
U-Boat is an English Term used for German UBoots in WW2, in Germany we say UBoot.
Also there where no special watches issued to German UBoot Crews, the Luftwaffe had special watches issued to Bomber and Fighter Pilots.
Also the German Army had special watches issued in limited numbers to Artillery Observers.
So where is the connection to Nazism?
