Anyone from boston/metrowest want a free lunch?

Figured (I'm new to the site, having under 10 posts and what not), but I've been doing a ton on reading. Really.. a lot of reading!

That being said, I've always been a more hands on person (@ school I do best in labs because I can apply whats in the book to a real life setting - IMO very different then just reading from the book its self)

So my offer is this - If your around the MA Boston / metrowest area - and would like to meet up around Framingham or some town close to it, maybe a weekend or such - date can be worked out later - I'll pay for lunch (I'm a college kid so not somewhere 2 expensive.. but a nice enough place to make it worth your while)

and in return could you bring a watch or two.. or 3..4..5.....
some good quality.. bad quality ... in the middle reps.. maybe even a gen of something to hold next to the rep.
We can have a sit down - before... or after ... maybe even during lunch
and talk a little about what to look for in a rep (so i can actually see not just from pictures and the likes, what I'm to look for in a rep)

maybe if its out of your way to make it around framingham I could offer a nice dinner somewhere.. ? .. could also be your nice deed for the day haha [smilie=angel10.gif]

bonus I'll get us friendlies icecream if your an attractive woman and don't mind hanging out with a 20 year old engineering geek. haha just kidding.. no worries I'm not creepy like that.

Sounds to me like you need to start putting together a Boston area GTG.

I work in the Boston area, so might be up for lunch on a weekday, or maybe better idea as mentioned to get a Boston GTG.
We had one over the winter,which was a great time but only a handful of us attended.

Shoot me a PM if interested, maybe meet in Waltham for lunch M-F?

Hey I'd be all for a GTG, not sure if it would be a reality though.

and..not sure how my mom would feel about me having over a bunch of people over showing of their illegal hobby ..

Now if I was back @ school (RIT upstate NY) I'd invite a bunch of people over to my apartment.. but I have a funny feeling theres not a whole lot of people in Rochester NY on this site .. or any other for that matter haha

I do know a good local bowling ally thats relatively cheap to rent for a day !!
Bowling and reps.. can't go wrong there !
oh theres also a few good mini-golf places on Rt. 9 ..

eh.. no that one wont work.. scratch that (I still have this un-dying urge to go there.. maybe its from not being brought there enough as a kid)

mini-golf, bowling and reps... could be a fun GTG !
