PVD Breitling Skyland

We are sitting at the dock right now and one of the project managers from my company came aboard. It was the first time I had met him and of course I checked out his watch. He was wearing a PVD Skyland. He told me he bought it at a jeweler in Houston just a couple of weeks ago. He was looking for a Navitimer and the guy at the counter mentioned that he had one in the back. When he came out he had this watch with him also. Well he said it was love at first sight. Apparently they had it in the back for some guy that was supposed to pick it up a few days before and the salesman wanted to sell it just to make the point that they are not going to hang on to it forever while he made up his mind. What an ass.

I have to admit that this watch looked great but with the black case, black dial and black rubber strap it was just too dark for me personally. This guy had no idea it was 1 of 2000 until he had it home.

I would like to see a picture of an all black Breitling. You know I have that all black montbrillant olympas which looks nice except for it has that crazy friggin bentley bezel insert.

Love it, love it, love it. You should have shot him and took his watch. No wait... you should have taken him for a dive and pretended saw a shark and ripped it from his arm and bit his leg. Then tell him the shark must have though he was a seal.

The Skyland is not PVD coated, its actually blackened steel. Its very nice, but I really prefer the stainless steel version. We should be seeing a quality rep of this one any day now

I'd like to know it's composition .. what makes it different than stainless steel..

The Skyland is not PVD coated, its actually blackened steel. Its very nice, but I really prefer the stainless steel version. We should be seeing a quality rep of this one any day now

Thats pretty cool!!! when he said "at the docks"...New Iberia I figured something like that. I used to fly choppers out there a long time ago.....Rig/pipline Diving is very (danderous) rewarding.....
