only 7 homicides. one guy shot to death right infront of Lucky's supermarket, because of parking.

i am so happy my girlfriend moved away...she lived 15 miles away.....in a very nice neighborhood.....sirens and choppers all day.

sigh, access to guns more prevalent than anything else in our nation plus these trigger happy illiterate idiots running rampant on the streets makes for a very disturbing combination... damn it, i say we gather them all up and put them in the middle of a warzone somewhere.

Well now California has some very strict gun laws, so strict that I could not live there. So I would imagine that would make it one of the safest states to live in. We all know that stricter gun laws prevent crime! :?

it is like that where i live. i haven't pulled the keys out of my truck in 15 years or so and if we just run to town to get something to eat, stuff like that we don't lock the house. you do hear gun fire where i live several times a week. it is me or the other people in the area target shooting in their yards.

Where I used to live in Va. was like that. I used to shoot a lot of magnum rifle, and when I was working up a handload it was nice to just step out on the back deck and crank off rounds to check for pressure signs.

totally remote countryside.....around Pleasanton, CA.

horses, cats, dogs and .........coyotes. the neighbor has goats and Lamas.

and endless nature around the next corner. people know, greet and smile at each other.

very peaceful, not to mention the stars at night. ......no more RAIDERS coming to raid.....

I have friends in and from Pleasanton... never seen areas that pretty around there! Very nice, H_U. I hope to one day be able to live somewhere more remote like that (and still make a living!)..

and last night..... 4 people dead.....2 were shot by cops after shootouts, 2 more homicides execution style.....

So glad i moved out of Brooklyn. Noisy, no space/privacy. Expensive and got burglarized 3 times in the last year i was there. Now i'm in west central Illinois. Corn fields, unlocked doors, nature and waving passersby. Much more serene and peaceful. I don't see myself ever living in a city again. I do need some firearms now though to fit in with the local population.

2 cops stop a car and get shot - killed.

swat team and officers find the shooter suspect, surround the appartment complex he lives in.....well, 2 more swat members get shot and killed.

just another day in OAKLAND.

4 cops left dead.

oakland sucks - stay away.

i once HAD !! to drive through a shitty neighbourhood in Oakland ( to pick up the stolen car of my girlfriend that was recovered in EAST OAKLAND )

looked like a landfill.....instead of nukin Iraq.....Oakland must be next.
