Stupid question.

I am super new here, and I know this question has been asked before in some way or another, but I just need final clarification before I buy my very first rep.

It is my understanding that the best quality super-rep out there is the Breitling Steelfish after reading some great reviews. I can't seem to find anything to the contrary anyways. Is there a list of super-reps that I am missing? I am itching for my first rep! Feel free to beat me down a little, I am just being cautious. Ruby seems to have just what I am looking for.

I really want to wear the watch everyday for looks and true reliability.

The steelfish is a great watch.

First, are you going to buy a swiss or asian version?

Asian will not have a sapphire crystal (or a swiss movement..lol) The case and bracelet are the same as the asian.

I would call the steelfish a highly accurate replica.
I guess I have to put the IWC Cousteau 06 and 07 along with some hublot and the Chopard GTXL 07 Ultimate in with the super reps. Also some MBW Rolex and Royal Oak. Also love the Porsche Design and new Graham Oversized Chornofighter.

The Steelfish is a high quality piece. The only thing you will have to watch out for is to not cross thread the crown/stem. This was a common problem with the Steelfish models.

Are you looking for a non chrono? If so, The Steelfish and the Omega UPO are great buys and great quality!

I have a SOSF in white and it is one of my favorite watches. I would have to say go with the Swiss movement though. If money is a factor I would not hesitate to buy this watch in Asian but if you can swing it go Swiss. Now the tough decision, what color?

The SOSF is a good replica. Actuallly just about any Breitling is. If price is no object there are other choices of course but that is a fine selection. Sounds like you already have the dealer picked out too. If that's what you want then go for it.

Well, I am impressed. With all the forums out there I have been lucky to find a great one! I hate the immature flame-fests that are so common these days. I cannot thank you guys enough.

A guy I work with has a gen SFSO that I have studied. The rep looks the same to me!

Looks like you are almost there. If you like it that much get the Swiss SOSF. Pick a color and the SS or Leather. The hardest part is pulling the trigger the first time. That was the second watch i bought. I was so proud of it - I actually felt comfortable enough to give to one of my buddies (who has 4 or 5 B-Gen's) as a gift.

I get a lot of questions about this or that model all the time. Usually they're already fixated on a particular model because they heard the hype about it. When that happens there's no point in talking them out of it. Anf to tell you the truth you shouldn't. The best thing is to pull the trigger, get the watch and decide fot yourself. Until you do that you will always wonder. So that is the advice I give.
