WoW!

...This GMT looks totally stunning, I like how GMT´s seem nice on Jubilee Bracelets, it fits the watch just correctly.

I´m not a big fan of the raised crystal - I find it to high on the bezel - but I´ll make an exception for this. I really loved this watch!
Congrats, mate!

Cheers,
Spirit.

beautiful GMT!!! I love the Vintage rollies yet i have never owed any rolex GMT.. not sure why because i love looking at them! The plastic crystal Rolex will always be my favorite.. they have so much character... the new saphire crystal watches have no sole haha.

i agree !00% the older stuff has much more character, im working on a paul newman daytona now, i wish he didnt die but for some reason now they attract me more, lol they are alot cooler looking than the new ones imo but smaller was my only drawback till now about them

that gmt with pointy cgs to me has more character than most in its class , those cgs just make that watch well, different if u know what i mean and without those to me they all look the same

i like the pointy crown guards too.. you just dont see them very often.

yeah i know that is why i had to make one, lol i saw a few back when i made this watch and they were beat up way too bad for the money they wanted for them, so i decided to make me one used but new looking styled, lol

rbj69,
excellent job (if its a rep base you have moded)
For the history :
The original, the only one model with crown guards and the small gmt hand pointer, had in fact a calendar disk with red numbers. Some dials had circled dots, some not.

But lot of these vintages are canibalized with a mixt of various parts as dials, calendar disc, hands etc.

Where did you find the dial ??? I am looking since so long time to find a correct dial

here, the original 1675

Crown guards on yours are good, loock here details

Looking at that beautiful exemplar again here :D

...And thanks for the historic info, TicTac! ..It´s always interesting to gather some of this info about our beloved watches - in my case, Rolex. and I should say, BTW, I loved your signature pic, but you should cut it to get rid of that white border...it would look totally awesome with a correct border all around it.

Cheers,
Spirit.

You really did an awesome job with your vintage GMT. It's one of the best looking and most convincing reps I have ever seen. Outstanding watch really.

100% in agreement with you, mate.
Vintage Rollies = thinner sexy cases, pinholed lugs and nice plexy (super domes rock)
