I finally had a chance to shoot my MMD this morning. I originally bought this piece to replace my Rolex YM in the "shiny" sport watch category with something a little more interesting. IMO, nobody does the marine theme better than UN and it's history speaks for itself in that regard. The fit, finish and overall quality feel of this piece most certainly meets or exceeds the YM in every regard. I get more compliments from strangers about this watch than any other in my collection by far. I wasn't able to finish the session with all the shots I wanted so I'll have to add to it later. Enjoy for now...

Lume is GREAT  What to expect, it's a gen watch. Anyway, saw more combo at the last Baselworld. Pretty impressive I must say.

No doubt on the lume. I'm gonna shoot a couple lume shots in a bit. I also ordered one of the new Maxi Marine Diver Chronos in RG on rubber as well after seeing those at basel - those are rep-able too guys since the dial layout suits the A7750...

Can you try the crown on this model? On one of my friend it's quite wobbly.

Not wobbly at all on mine. In fact one of the most solid and smooth winding mechanisms in my collection...

This one has pretty cool movement actually. ETA based 2895+PR module, very finely finished... I don't think it's an ETA anymore.

Good to know about the crown. Just to say that even gen may have lemon :p

Still 2892A2 base plate, but soon all Nardin movements will be made totally in house. No matter - especially since it has a closed back. The 2892A2 is a reliable and extremely durable movement as you know. Mine is particularly amazing as I'm running at a a stunning -.7 across all positions with full reserve. Got pretty lucky there.

You went with a very nice dial color, this one has been a favorite to look at..
Been up in the air on this model or a Arnold & Sons White Ensign, both have their attractions.
Enjoy your beauty, it`s a keeper.

Yeah funny thing about the grey rhodium dial - nobody gets it because all the published pics of it look so terrible, especially the UN ones. Also, most dealers only have it on rubber and even that makes the dial look different. IMO, the grey dial is the best choice on rubber or bracelet but not many are around. It has to be seen in person to be appreciated. I had to order mine. Never seen this dial bracelet combo at a dealer. There are a lot of siver, black, and burgundy dials around - too many silver ones IMO.

Had to do a search of your posts to find this absolutly great piece.

In my opinion that grey dial with the blued hands are the way to go on a MMD. Plus the bracelet makes the dial even better than the rubber.

Thanks for great pics and for sharing. If you ever want to part it, please contact me.

Cheers!
