The pictures are pretty blurry if you try to blow them up so seeing detail is impossible. If i had to guess i would say its a rep because the date font isnt bold enough and the bezel covers too much of the rehaut where the TACHYMETER is written in red and YES the little tick on the sub dial is missing. I was trying to find pics of an old gen to see what the subdial looks like and i cant find that dial without the tick. I have a gen BCE with an older dial and its completely different so its of no help here. Mine has the numbers around it and completely different subdials. I'd stay away from this one unless better pics of the movement are offered from the seller. Not worth the risk IMO

Well... Fake!

The rotor is a tell (although it has fine regulator). Wrong datefont too. Perhaps this is Swiss version of BCE. The 14... should have tip top not flat top for this model.

Yup, 100% rep.

The date wheel, although looks like ETA, is most probably rep.

My BCE from Angus had the ETA type DW factory fitted.

The rotor, has the wrong bearing. No-one in their right mind would fit an asian rotor to a gen Breitling!

The "croc" strap looks too much like the rep straps - plastic faced.

Good! I think this section works quite well to encourage people to report to eBay. The bad thing is... we don't get paid doing this :p
Well... better than to see innocent victims get scammed.

I won't ever report anything.I think people need to take responsibiliy for their own actions. But I don't really even think it's about that. As I've said before, when someone is trying to buy a 10k watch for 1k they are trying to pull something over on what they believe is an unsuspecting seller. That makes them dishonest and they get what's coming to them. If they are not being dishonest then they are so stupid, no amount of information will help them. All that pulling an auction does is delay the inevitable. Just my .02 inflation adjusted cents.

I wonder what happens when people buy reps on ebay, discover they are reps, and take action to be refunded..

I also wonder how often people buy reps on ebay, thinking they are gen, and enjoy them with the belief that it was a great deal.

It is my big concern that people are taking advantage of current situation (i.e.: the availability of high quality replica watches). There are many cases that even jewelers/second hand dealers tricked into buying replica watches. I would say that it's right thing to do if we are aware of such situation, we should do the best to help reducing the number of such incidents.

Unfortunately people are naive and clueless. My wife would not know the difference between a rep and gen, and lets say that she bought an
Omega for me as a surprise....and to my horror, its a 2nd generation PO rep! Now thats what we need to stop. Its not like I spend hours looking for scammers, I am honestly looking for good deals on gen watches to buy...and then I report the out and out conmen along the way.
