Trusty's "Ultimate" Submariner

Has anyone had any experience with Andrew's "Ultimate" submariner? I would be intersted in hearing your opinions. How does this watch compare with the BK Mariner and is the higher price ($488.00) justified?

I think both watches use the same basic F series case. On the surface it would seem that the BK Mariner with the correct new crown and superior pearl would have the edge, but I have not seen either of the watches up close. This could be a great review I would think.

Don't get it! Too inaccurate, too pricey, plus you have to deal with customs and drop shipping, don't get me wrong, Trusty is a great guy but the "Perfect" Sub he sells is far from it. Get BK's Submariner, it's $360 shipped, modded to almost perfection.

There's a waiting list, but it's worth it! He also offers TT subs, LV Subs, Yacht-Master, etc. All modded, you can't get any better than this!

way too much!!! YES BK's modded sub.. proper crown guards custom filed.. Gen spec crown.. better bezel insert and better pearl.. modded bezel etc etc and WAY less $ than the "ultimate".

This confirms my gut feeling.
If it is half as good as my old King sub (modded by rbj69) the BK mariner should be a great rep.
I will start saving my pennies and get on the waiting list.
