I asked this question in reverse last time. Have you taken a watch that is typically shown with a bracelet and put a strap or band on it and liked it better?

Put my old Rolex Day Date rep on an alligator strap versus the old gold bracelet - like the look for a change but still to small for me to get any serious wrist time...

I like bracelets. Think they look better. Even on PAMs. Well some of them.

A friend of mine who used to work in a Hublot AD told me that if you want to make a statement you must have leather strap on youre watch.

switching to leather works on a lot of watches.. gives it a nice unique feel.

nothin wrong with bracelets.. and they dont wear out...

all depends on the watch :)

As always, it is just a matter a taste! I removed the bracelet from my IWC Spitfire Laureus and put a Nightblue BOB strap on it with a deployant. LOOKS GREAT !!

If you pull up in that Beemer, it doesn't matter what you're wearing!

Not exactly that beemer. Mine is jet black (and a little less fast). And most people I know always look at my left wrist, to see which watch I'm wearing 8)

A gentleman would never wear a watch without a leather strap. Fact.

Your fact has been rejected.

I must be a gentleman then (most of the time). Only two of my watches are on a bracelet, TAG Link and MB Timewalker. The rest (PAM's, IWC's, Omega's and a Breit) are all one leather.......

That's Dave's wrist and watch.

Dave is not a gentleman. You proved bme's point.

I have a couple of bracelet watches I swapped out to straps:

One for me:

One for the wife:

I prefer the GMT on SS. The wife liked the Sub on leather, but I swiped it back from her and put the SS back on. Now that I have my SSD, she's back to wearing the Sub. She wanted the leather strap back, but it's a pain in the ass to get off so I told her the SS looks sexy on her. Now she wears it all the time.

And it does look sexy.

And I have this PO on a bebenn:
