Fog in crystal

I washed some dishes while wearing a DJ, then I took out some food from the oven. After dinner, I noticed my watch was all fogged up from the inside. How could this happen? Could the heat from the oven create such moisture inside the watch?

What should I do. Thanks, all.

Put your watch under the sunlight for some time, and the fog should disappear.
...You´re not supposed to go into saunas (the oven must have acted like this) and nor to expose it to hot water. The temperature can make the watch "sweat" from inside, and it could affect the mechanism...

That seems to be just what happened with your DJ, so, take care of it, or it can stop working one of these times...

putting the watch in the sun will only solve the problem for a little while.
a good watch is an enclosed system.....so, the moist stays in the watch....

my idea - try to get a bigger pack of SILICAGel ....open the watchcase ...put the watch together with the silicagel into a ziplock - bag and evacuate the air in there with a straw.....for the most part. leave in the bag for min 48 hour.
if the Silica Bag is still pretty new...it will bind the moist out of your watch!

sounds good.....makes sense ??

Indeed makes sense, I just don´t know about each one abilities to open watchcases and do the procedure without the fear of damaging something.
..Me, for example, wouldn´t have any tool nor ability to do that. So, I would have to take it to a watchsmith (?) to get the issue solved :|

But anyway... The more replies/solutions one gets, the better

read about how to open your case...use a ball made out of ductape, i use a cloth roller that i press against the backplate....and turn, works 100%.
unscrew it carefully......what could be a problem ?

My tried and true method:
Either open the case back, or at least unscrew the crown...Place the watch directly atop a LIT light bulb for long enough for the crystal to clear, and leave it there @ 5 minutes after it clears..Then immediately reseal the case.
I have used this method for 30+ years on dozens of watches...Be careful of acrylic crystals...They will distort if left too long on the heat source...Simple and effective....

Actually more of a service agreement. She keeps my water hose clear of golf balls, and I keep the cooters out of her bird cage.
