The two watches below are talking to me real bad I can't buy both. So I need some input. Both are limited edition pieces the PVD is 500 pcs and the brown is I think 900 pcs. I'm leaning toward the brown dial but the PVD is pretty bad ass. Let me hear fellas.
I have a line on both meaning I can get either one regardless of their respective limited quantities.

I think the back is mineral. Front is AR coated sapphire.

Are you sure Taka? I'm hearing from Swiss Army through "my guy" that Swiss Army is selling at retail and they will hold the price till March 31, 2008 at which time it might go up. I'm thinking of holding one. 500 and 900 pieces world wide is a pretty small number.

Yes, I am sure about it, at least for Singapore market. I got an at least 20% off MSRP last time (less than a year ago).

Off of a limited edition piece Taka. I'm not doubting you I just want to be clear.

@Klink its good to see you around. Yes only five hundred is very tempting to be sure.

PVD. It will go with more.

Wow. A $20,000 swiss army watch. Am I nuts or would I buy a rollie or omeega instead?

Hey Sean, no offense but man those seem a bit steep to me although I''m not to familiar with their pricing. I know their limited and I would to of course buy what makes you happy. But dude a brwon dial? Yuck LOL, get the PVD I think, or better yet take that amount and get a Omega or Tag or what have you. 8)

Seank--- gotta go with Sub4Me on this one. I like the PVD, but for $1400, I'd buy a used Omeega Moonwatch or something similar. $1400 will get you a lot of watch.

I like PVD when they are on leather or nylon. Not so much when the bracelet is black too.

Get the brown dial.

You guys are messing with my watch mojo. I'm starting to talk to myself. Not that I don't do that now. Keep it coming I'm starting to question whether I even want these. Elliot called me last night and said "why don't get a used PAM?"

Yes, I asked about the limited edition (not so limited, I have seen it sitting on the display for quite some time). I think they just quoted me 20% off MSRP.

Sean as much as it pains me to say it, I have to agree with Sub4Me. :D There are a lot of nice watches out there in and around that price range. I think I would have to look towards a used Omega before I would put $1400- into a Swiss Army Watch, limited or not. Good luck.

I dunno if you can buy a used PAM for $1400 (I think you're going to be closer to $2500 to $3000), but I know there are some really good watches (both new and used) for $1400. Omeeegas are probably your best bet for value. Lots of stuff you can get for that price. Might want to take a look at a Baume & Mercier as well. The Riveras start at about $2000 new, so you can probably find one used in your price range.

I don't like the Robocop looking bezel on the PVD diver, so I vote brown dial chrono. :D

Hey you wise ass. :D

Hey, Sub, if it makes you feel any better, at least he acknowledged your existence. I'm apparently chopped liver.
