I tried to report this auction many times with no luck..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=010

so now the winner has a nice expensive rep on his hands..
it's sad how many of these auctions are popping up on ebay these days.
And of course ebay doesn't care because they get a nice chunk of change out of these high money items..

It is incredible. I don't know how someone could be that crooked or such a fool.

The Chopard rep is not really that well made. Someone is going to be really mad.

looks like he also sold two other watches, a Tag and Montblanc and his pics are terrible...and a bankwire to Turkey? I think I'll pass.

In a way, your right though.
I mean who would buy a watch from someone with 5 feedbacks and overseas in turkey or wherever he was.
I know there are a lot of gullible people out there..but it's sad to see people taking advantage of them like this.

I informed the buyer that he bought a 100$ replica and he canceled the transaction.
Fortunately, he hadn't sent the money.

@eleley. Thank you for doing a good deed. I'd hate to see that guy pay $1300 for a watch that can be picked up for about $100.

Thanks jkwhyd.
It would be unfair someone to pay such an amount just for being ignorant.
Although he should have been suspicious from the photos and description of the watch...

I don't know if I would ever buy an expensive watch on ebay. The only way would be if someone had a store. I know some of the sellers have physical locations. But to buy an Omega from some jerk off in a far way land, forget it. I'll pay the extra couple hundred bucks.

The grey market is definately sketchy IMO. Everything can be replicated these days and ebay is a perfect example of how sad society is these days to make a few dollars.

Good job, eleley! I don't mind people buying/selling/collecting reps, but when someone tries to pass it off as the real McCoy, that's bullshit.

Agreed, I would only buy a watch from someone with a long history of buying/selling expensive watches and 98+% feedback. Even then, it's a gamble. But not much more than buying something off timezone.com or viapaneristi.com, really.

Still, it's hard for me to feel *that* sorry for someone who is willing to send $1300 to a complete stranger in another country...
