Chronomat Evolution Bracelet and the frustration

Hi guys,

OK I have a frustrating issue. Not a huge problem but annoying anyways.

When I first took links off my Evo to size it, after putting the bracelet back together, at least one link on both sides would be super tight.

When I found that out, i decided to tinker with this brain breaking puzzle that this bracelet is and kept switching all the little pieces, reconstructing links and the bracelet only to end up with more super tight links that oyu cannot bend!

What is deal here?

Is it an inherited flaw in this rep or is there a trick to fix the problem?

I think if you tighten the screws too much it makes the links too tight...Just loosen them a little and it should fix it.

I think the above answer is correct, leave the screw a little loose and I would use a little thread lock (locktite) to stop the screw working itself out.

I went with the rep black calf, its excellent and indistiguishable from gen without having both in hand. This is the only watch I wear on a strap more then the bracelet (actually it hasn't been on the bracelet since I wore it on the calf).

The Breitling logo is stamped into the buckle on the rep strap not even similar to the gen,and the quality is not the same at all,i have both...but the rep strap is better then some other rep straps like the Pam one's,i will give it that...
