New Yachtmaster from King

There's a new yachtmaster listed on King's site recently...

No, I'm not talking about Yuckimaster II....

It's the original yachtmaster....an improved version I assume....

The thing is....it shows that it could come in two different type of movements...

2892 and 3035.....wait......3035?????? is this for real??? does that mean now china's able to copy 3035 movt.???? or is it genuine 3035 movt.????

i sent an e-mail to king to quote the price on this yachtie with 3035 movt.....we will see how much it would be.....and if it's a copy or not....

anyone know anything about this?

She says the movements are swiss not asia copies. Have my doubts on the 3035 though. The watch looks much improved with higher crown position and better rehaut.

Look from the function point of view, the YM has just normal 3 hands with the date. There is no further complicated function. For the price of USD2,500 for 3035 movement, what it is worth to pay for? While 2892 seems to be a very good movement already.

Expert please help.

almost perfect, high crown position, correct rehaut.

BUT
"Yacht-Master" still not bold enough. Seems like the noob YM's dial. The worst is the bezel. The teeth are way too short. No Rolex feel.

For 2500$ you must expect some else than a 3035 or 3135 inside... better dial, hands, crown, bezel design, etc. If not, just go for a 3035/3135 used and find a gen case... you finally might pay the same but you have more accurate version.
