Most members here are totally unaware of the hidden agendas on this board.......and the Mods and people behind them.......andjust blindly wander thru' the board ...oblivious.....that's the nature of this business....which is what it is here......strictly business....whereas the other boards are about the hobby.....that's why the serious collectors are over there....and not here.....the guys with the knowledge......and the experience.......they're not here.....'cos they know the nature of this beast....!
This board arose from the ashes of the old RWG1 board......at first it looked promising.....then the scabs started to appear.......the promotional bribery with Joshua and Trusty ....the 'kickbakc' factor ofr removing certain dealers....Sash and Plan 9......etc etc.......Klink modifying or deleting member's posts all over the place......then banning members.....without approval.....being removed from Moderator status.....then back again....he's been up and down as a Mod more often than a bride's nightie......!
Then you had the original founder of the board Timmy......who's now in jail...or out perhaps......what did he do...well he did what the original founder of RWG 1 did.....he scammed the members.......what was the outcome.....ahhhh......the board would continue.....with NEW Admin and Moderators.....there would be a new era of RWI......which is funny .....'cos it still smells the same as before.....stinky Klinky's been re-instated.....the dealership's still being manipulated......and there's still the smell of malfeasance in the air.
RWG / TRC and even Repgeeks.......have enviable reputations......NO-ONE...and I mean NO-ONE can ever level any accusations at Thomas as Admin on TRC or RWG....regarding scamming members.......or anything remotely like it.......that's the difference between these boards.....and nothing will change until this board is completely cleansed....and smells of Dettol instead of decay......!
That's my observation and opinion......the Mods will no doubt do as they've always done....delete it...or in this instance let it stand......and try to answer the questions that should be asked of them......!
If anyone wants to see my latest offerings....they can be foundon the 3x other premier boards.....RWG / TRC and Repgeeks......if not.......you can slum it here.....!

I can only hope that we are one step closer to eliminating the dark cloud that develops everytime we see a "It's been 9 months" "It's been 4 months" etc.. in the Top 10 posts.
To the membership: I'm really sorry that once again, for the last 24 hours you have had to see this drama unfolding.. but this is what happens when you start to clean house.
But, it appears that we have not seen the last of TTK as he promises to come back to harass..
Look at the class in this statement above... and specifically this statement.. "as well as dealing with the behind the scenes shitstorm that I'll create"... I hope he does not hold RWG and RepGeek hostage for as long as he held RWI.

I love it when the dealers who say this place is full of buyers only and that the hobbiest stay away. That makes no sense from a dealer point of view. That means everywhere else is not buying watches just discussing them, so that is an oxymoron in itself. As a "dealer" one would want to increase profits by doing what? Discussing? No, you would want to sell, sell, sell. So if you thought this place was full of buyers only, as a dealer, this is your paradise. So the whole argument of not wanting to be here because of no hobbiest's is stupid for a dealer to use. To me it's like if you were to ask for something and they are all out and then you sulk away and say "I didn't want it in the first place", yeah... right.
I don't think this place is a buying place only. I have learned many things here that the other RWG,TRC, TWC, etc did not have on thier sites. Also the PM system here is MUCH better and has proven to be a far greater assest. I have by far been helped and have helped others than on any other board.

This was unnecessary and very poorly handled. You have two Mods that baited Neil into a confrontation over three smiley faces for crying out loud, knowing full well how he would react. Was the purpose of this to create a reason to ban him? Grow up guys. You don’t want him here, send him an email, give him the reasons and then do it! This petty crap cheapens the board and makes it look like it is run by adolescents. The administration of this board created this "drama" by not doing this.
As a member of four of the credible five rep boards out there, it doesn’t make any difference to me if Neil is here or not as I can find him. It does make a difference to me on how people treat others and the appearance of a website being monitored in a somewhat professional manner.

I have never purchased from TTK. I respect your position on this as do I TTK's. I can see that TTK provides a product. My formulated opinion of the dealer (TTK) is lackluster at best based on customers and their real world experiences with delivery (which may have been out of his control with customs) and lack of communication. I don't know TTK personally so maybe he is a fine upstanding citizen. Sure, I may have an illinformed opinion about him as a dealer based on half truths, full truths, rants and raves but if I don't like the movie I ain't watchin it! To each his/her own. So you asked why did this have to happen like this? You have to sell yourself, not the product. If people hear negative things about you and you don't/can't fix it properly by your words and actions, then it has escalated beyond your control.
TTK I do "sincerely" wish you well in your future endevors.

I am I the only one who sees how truly imature TTK and his gang of "we will show you, we won't come to your board anymore" friends are?
I swear, this reminds me of kindergarden in the sandbox when one kid had a cool toy and a game to play that everyone had fun with. Then the kid with the toy began to decide who was "in" and who was "out" Some people stuck with the kid and his toy even though toyboy was treating people poorly and making fun of them. As toyboy felt he had more power, he began to try and tell everyone how the game was played.
As toyboy continued to treat people poorly, some of the people who thought toyboy's toy and his game were fun began to speak out and say toyboy was wrong for how he treated people. Of course, toyboy would have none of that, so he threatened everyone and reminded them that the toy was "his" and unless he "liked" you and you followed his rules, you were not allowed to play with him and his toy.
Most of the kids realized what a jerk toyboy was and were glad when toyboy and the few friends he had left. The other kids found a new toy and game, came up with a new set of rules and had fun again.
Toyboy came around with his "friends" every once in a while and it really was sad. Nobody took toyboy and his friends seriously anymore and never really wanted to play with toyboy again. This made him mad and instead of trying to play wth the other kids and follow the new rules, toyboy called them names and began to do mean things to them.
Eventually, toyboy left to live his sad little existence of a life, mad at the world, telling anybody that would listen that it was everyone else who was wrong and he was the one who was right on all things that mattered.
I always wondered what happened to that mean little kid.
I think I know now....
