I second that. This is on the level of super reps alongside HBB and IWC CD. Would be very hard to call this one out if a gen wasn't right next to it. Only thing I notice are the crown, date window, and engraving. Really awesome.

I feel bad for the guy who bought the D3722.

If I didn't see the two side by side, there is no way I could tell the difference.

OK - I have to say this - very nice job on the replication but, the design of the watch leaves me cold.
Are these Assimas so popular to warrant such remarkable copies?

The biggest difference is the one on the left will work in six months

Don't call it Super rep please.. They will put a $3xx price on it just because of this.

This is the kind of watch you could have for less than $80 at Silix (I actually think I have seen this one before...) Now they will put an eta in it and ask 4 time the price.

Bvlgari

Looks very good. The only time I've ever seen a Bvlgari was on a flight from Tokyo to USA. An oriental gentlemen, across the aisle, was admiring his purchase from the duty free shop.

Well... It's got to do with engraving. The rep's engraving isn't as good as the genuine (appear "rounder" to me). Nonetheless, it is an impressive replica. Will consider this piece, but at the moment, price is very high.

Seriously though, That price is a joke...This is the reason that I mainly browse this forum now instead of buying.

Sorry but you mentioned you 'mainly browse' so just browse and save your certain remarks off the dealer.

Well... Just as comparison, Ultimate PO 45.5mm with ETA movement can be had for under 200USD shipped, I don't see any reason why this piece is 100+USD more expensive than the Ultimate PO. Demand and supply?

To cover for diminishing demand later on, the makers might be charging a higher price at the moment :p

When all who were dying for this watch have gotten one for themselves, the remaining demand will gradually diminish to almost flat. The curve changes...

Great to have you back, Taks! How's family? How's Germany?

They are doing pretty well this time. Feel bad for leaving them alone for such extended period of time. Germany is good. I met with a fellow forum member "guru" yesterday. We shall have a mini gathering here before Winter :p
