I was told by Joshua quite a few months ago this watch would come out with a Swiss ETA - As usual, in the rep world, delay after delay for one reason or another has kept the Swiss ETA version from coming out.

I have compared the pictures of this watch to the Gen and it looks real good.

What do you resident B&R experts think?

What about the reliability of the asian mov'mnt? (this one has the 28.8 asian mov'mnt)

Thanks in advance for your input...

I just love this watch (the 46mm is too big for me). And this first appearance is quite good. Although the date font is wrong and lume is not consistent in color through out the dial and hands.

Anyway, I saw another dealer had it with the correct BR03 rubber strap.

Cheers!

Turbo,

Which dealer has it with the rubber strap?

Also, I just checked King's site and they have it with a SWISS 2824!

Could this be?

Jake:

Saw it with PAM111 over in RWG. He's got a picture with the BR03 rubber strap in his site. PM for more details.

I guess if King has the swiss with the correct rubber strap and buckle, I'm sure in for one!

So if anyone gets to her with a positive answer, don't hesitate to post your results!

Cheers

Thanks Jake. I've been on the boards everyday for a year and I've never seen King's site, thanks.

Never dealt with King, but he always is the first to post pics of new comers.. :) Plus he has a template of how he photographs his watches which is good once you get used to it.. Nothing up to our resident photographers, but a nice representation nevertheless.

I have bought watches from almost every dealer - including King, but it has been a while.

And to be honest. I am not sure if King is a guy or a gal. I have heard both. King has been a round for a long time either way and from what I can tell, can be trusted.

I've been told there is NO LUME on the orange dial version. I'm not sure if there is any lume on ANY of the new 42mm versions. None of the "dealers" mention the lume. They do mention the AR.

I think you are right about the lume (there isn't any)

With that said I do know one dealer who sells a 42mm with white numbers that are lumed but the watch does not have the date window an dthe lume on the hands is different than the lume on the dial.

For this watch it looks so good compared to Gen I don't think the lack of lume would bother me, but of course my first preference would be with good lume :D

I guess for all of us who've been waiting for this, we can always send it to relume! With all the excellent modders we've got, I guess this could be a new task for 'em.

ALL RIGHT NOW!!!!!

This is shaping up to be one sweet watch!

The 46mm looks like you are wearing a clock and the 39mm is not only to small, I am not even sure that B&R made a 39mm that looked like the rep 39mm's

This could be the one I have been waiting for!

Yeah baby...............

I just recently sent king an email about getting prices on the asian and swiss versions of the B&R 01-92. The reply I got back ( even though it shows a swiss version available on his site) was "sorry swiss movement not available for this watch- is mistake" So you better be certain before ordering this one! :!:

I have an email into King. the watch I am intersted in is a BR03-92 not a BR01-92. Maybe that accounts for the difference in availability with the Swiss mov'mnt.

Also - I just received an update from Joshua on the Swiss 2824 version of this watch:

It has full lume on the dial markers, indices and hands!

Joshua said his builder is currently working on printing a new date wheel for the swiss version so it may be another month or two until it is available - bummer.

If anyone gets this watch sooner - let me know. I have been waiting quite a while for this one...

42mm not 1:1!

Please have a look at the bezel...to me it appears completely off.
On the gen the upper side is "plain" like the glass. The rep appears too "curved".

I hope I`m wrong on this one.... :?
