Some of our dealers and gen manufacturers, that is.
I was interested in a Omega Seamaster Pro black so I read everything I could find about them. By-tor's reviews and comparisons were by far the best info I found. Armed with this info I asked several of our sellers about certain features and subleties about the models they carried. One told me to just buy a gen, needless to say I'll never buy from him. Another promised some pics and never sent them after repeated requests. Another said that what I wanted wasn't made and never had been. But By-tor's reviews told me they had.
I just bought a gen Omega Seamaster Pro GMT off of eBay.
So not only were our dealers short-sighted by blowing me off and losing the sale and future sales, the gen manufacturers are short-sighted in their prosecuting rep dealers and makers. Because of my interest in reps, I bought a gen.
