How much do we think the new Cousteau will cost?

Will it be in the Hublot Black Magic arena (please tell me people aren't buying these for that price) or around the Steelfish area?

I'm definitely on for one if they don't price it out of the market?

That'd be less than ANY of the HBBs, I think the SS is the "least expensive" at over $400... how much do they want for the black magic?

Have a look on the main dealers sites. It's got an asian 7750 and costs the same as the PAM 1950 Flyback with a genuine ETA - The cost aparently is due to the ceramic which doesn't cost a lot to buy but does cost a lot to cast

The 'Mellow Yellow' one is much less that the Black Magic but still has ceramic so where the extra comes from is anyones guess? PVD maybe.

I got a second hand stainless steel from another forum member in perfect condition was just under the 400 mark and I was very happy with that. It starts to hurt after 400 no matter what the watch in my opinion :shock:

Lets hope it's a price we can all swallow.

It better not be a penny more than the existing Cousteau... As far as complexity goes, the new one with a solid caseback should be less work than the current wood inlay. Everything else is pretty much the same right? I'm really holding out for the new one.

Did you guys see that Andrew and Josh rose the price of the CD with eta by about $300. I think they will put the price higher on the new CD because I think the rep makers are charging them more for the "super reps".
