I have no inside info, so take this with a grain of salt:

Look what happened with the big bang. We have, what, 8 versions, and rumor has it that more are coming out. B&R the same. For some reason supply of the CD is very limited. Production problems? They didn't get it right the first time? Too much labor needed for a piece? Keeping supply low to push the price higher? Whatever, they will sort it out.

And then if they can produce a watch variation without retooling, they will, given there is a market for it. And we know a lot of people are waiting for a IWC aquatimer 'slevin' (crossing finger too, right pugwash ? )

That is so true, my CD with the bit of Ikea furniture wood and tin foil boat looks khak ! The newer solid back would look so tasty! Mind you nobody will get too close to my watch to see it unless they want a knuckle sandwich in their face ! :shock:

I have only been wearing my CD for a full day today so far and already looking at another watch, hopefully the newer CD if it ever comes along.....is this a sickness wanting to buy so many watches??? I wish I was an octopus, wear 'em all ! :lol:
