I have no inside info, so take this with a grain of salt:
Look what happened with the big bang. We have, what, 8 versions, and rumor has it that more are coming out. B&R the same. For some reason supply of the CD is very limited. Production problems? They didn't get it right the first time? Too much labor needed for a piece? Keeping supply low to push the price higher? Whatever, they will sort it out.
And then if they can produce a watch variation without retooling, they will, given there is a market for it. And we know a lot of people are waiting for a IWC aquatimer 'slevin' (crossing finger too, right pugwash ?
