8125 is discontinued, so I thought.

The 8525 is an ok device, though. I owned one about a month...freaking thing kept freezing up on me - so I went back to the ol trusty Crackberry.

Don't no much about the E62.

Oh - and just because you have Cing service, doesn't mean u can't get another GSM phone that another company sells. Just gotta get it unlocked, which is relatively easy.

Yeah the 8125 is discontinued, but I can get one next to nothing since I am renewing my contract. The E62 I think is on the chopping block as well, again next to nothing w/contract. The E62 is the USA version of the E61. I would like to be able videos, both do mp3, but the 8125 is windows and the E62 is OS Symbian, I dont know how compatible the symbian is with video files.

If youre looking for video and mp3 playback go for the 8125 but you're gonna have to overclock the cpu for better performance, ohterwise it will be a bit slow sometimes while in video playback with Wifi ON, theres alot of freeware to overclock the omap 200mhz and its really easy to do it, its also proven to run efficiently while overclocked.....

Screen size is the same on both (2.8") but if you dont text alot then the 8125 is more comfortable to use handheld as its less squared then the e62......

e62 shines in texting and wifi internet access......

also the 8125 can be hacked to enable a2dp in BT for wireless stereo audio streaming......

Lots of good stuff coming out soon too.....

which cellphone?

Business type Treo - anything from 600/650 + to 700 preferably Palm, minimum memory useage. 700+ are mainly Windows phones. Neat tidy good email service but text messaging outstanding with mini-qwerty. Has camera.
Entertainment? Sony Ericcson 950i cool touchsdreen with 4gig memeory, film clips and wholes divx films playable. My choice as I'm not into cameras on phones

This is the one I am leaning towards. I have heard about the overclocking, pretty cool. I know everyone say iPhone, but I am kinda anti itunes and all, that one reason I am not looking at it, that and it would cut nto my rep budget to much.LOL!

Having had every treo I personally think they suck (and have many long term reliability issues)... but love my motorola Q.

Coop, I have been a Crackberry used for like 4 years and cant see myself to usin another phone now. Wife uses the blackjack and it sgood by has to berry softowar and the treo was just too bulky. Im sticking with the 8700c but if you don use their berry softwware ot dont sync to email you options open up.

Ive gone to this site and ordered a few phones from them because they carry one of the widest array of unlocked phones in the US. They are located in down town chicago. You will see phones there you have never heard of with incredible capabilities.

Coop, I got an LG flip phone model #CU500, it is one of the top rated phones on CNET and sold by Cingular. I have had many phones and this one works very well. You can even watch video on it, although I do not use that feature. It has music download capability etc. Got one for my son too and he likes it. It is a great phone.

I use the LG CU500 1gig

It has the best MP3 loudspeaker sound quality for a phone so far on the market. "crank it up and it's LOUD" :D

If I am not mistaken, the only difference between yours and mine is the PTT "Walkie Talkie" feature, right?

Buyer beware: Cingular's PTT feature does not work in the Gulf of Mexico. I would assume that this goes for international as well.

yeah pretty close but the CU500 has

- 3D stereo sound
- External music keys
- rotating Camera lens

and a few other things but Does not have the Walkie Talkie

I'm in the wireless business, and the N95's the phone that all of the carriers are talking about. I've been using one for about a month, and the thing is stacked: 5 MP autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lense, internal GPS, standard headphone jack (one of the few Nokias wtih this feature), front camera for video telephony (although you won't have that feature with Cingular), WCDMA, HSPDA.

The only downside is that this phone is not targeted for the Americas, as it does not have 850MHz WCDMA (GSM only in this band). From talking to the folks at Nokia, it sound like they may have a US version by the end of the year, but for now, the best Nokia for this market is the less-featured N75.
