Epoch and Shutter Bug before that.

Yes, his new offerings are quite nice. I'm going to be using him to source another vintage project watch using a 44mm "mini-6154" case. I can't wait to get started...

or Buggs, or Bunny :p

and with a name like Shutterbug the pictures just have to be damn good :p
I probably just dated myself by admitting I know what shutterbug means

Hey not to be rude or discourage your enthusiasm, but his stuff is really no different or newer than most of the other dealers. He just takes some good pictures. Also, his prices are a bit higher than longer established dealers. That being said, he does take good pictures. Good enough to the point where he takes your basic 111h and makes it look as good as the more expensive ones.

Just presenting another side :)

Good point....he does offer the same stuff....but for someone like myself that is in the U.S......it is great. I have dealt with other dealers and had good experiences......however they were all in other countries (that's not a bad thing). The prince shipped my last purchase for $75 less than I could have gotten it anywhere else.

It is exciting for me to have such a nice collection to choose from and to be able to get it so quickly.

I've never bought from TWP so I have no bias either way....but I have to disagree about your comment about his prices....from what I've researched, most of his items are less than most of the other dealers, especially on PAMS.....plus he's U.S. based, taking a much higher risk than other dealers and that counts for quite a bit in my book.

You've done your research. Many thanks to everyone participating in this thread. My prices are generally less, pictures are okay, but does not inspecting watches seem to matter :?:

lol...

'inspect watches' makes of course a tremendous diffrence.. but then, some members

maybe like to order watch and received basket case so can have more of intimate and

repetitive contact with overseas dealer.. when ordering from TWP they lose the thrill of

reciving goofy watch, paying for shipment back to dealer, waiting for second or third delivery..

the joy of daring customs 2 or 3 times with same watch.. lol..

but then, some peoples need drama in lives.. no matter how much time, aggravation and cost is

involved...

 :p :D 8)

Uhh, not to be rude or discourage YOUR enthusiasm either my friend ;) but, he actually does have significantly LOWER prices then most, if not ALL of the other dealers here. Factor in each watch is hand inspected, the watch is shipped to your door from the US, there are no customs issues and he's great with repeat customers.

No EMS charges
No weeks long wait
No sending the watch back to CN or HK for repairs
NO WU fees
NO language issues or barriers
NO exchange rate losses

YES TWP, when you add it all up, is the most cost effective dealer here, hands down.[smilie=icon_thumright.gif]

And....I've bought from them all - ever our old friend Luckyyy

That, ladies and gentlemen, is a BRAVE man!

Did you get the watch, as advertised from Luckyyyyy? That was one of Paul's alter egos, no? If you got what you paid for, it sounds like you were one of the very few....

I haven't ordered from TWP *yet*, but our communications have been great thus far.

Couldnt have said it better JCM. I have bought over 25 watches from him including my latest 177H at a great price and service. He always keeps great communication during and after the transaction.

Not to mention he is now pampering his watches by wrapping them in a diaper when he sends them out. That is classic.

My second month here - I read ALLL about the "great MBW"...and this Luckyy guy who was "the shizzz" in the rep world. He knew Maria herself and learned from...blah blah blah..."dont pm him if you are new" "he takes forever" "sometimes you dont get your watch"

Ummm..lol...TRUE, TRUE and unfortunately TRUE. I still check each day w the postman for my black MBW sub from Thailand.
