Thinking of getting a gen Tissot. Any ideas?

Well folks, I've been thinking about this Tissot T-touch pictured bellow.
It's a quartz mvt but a titanium case with a buttload of features, like altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer etc, etc...Here's is a flash demo of it, really cool, it goes for around 500 some dollars.
Tell me what you think, should I go for it or not?

my landlord and good friend owns one since 2 years....very incredible watch, bought at costco...he flies a Piper....so he is a Pilot...leaves the mechanical Breitling at home...and wears the Tissot...the compass in it is amazing....and the altimeter....what can i say....swiss innovation....awesome daily watch !!

To me it is much sexier then the J12 and it would be nice to add to my/our collection...

Grazie enzo, what do you think about the tactile face? is it prone to malfunction?
you mention water resistance, do you mean diving resistance or hand washing resistance?
I'm really tempted by this.

the tissot is cool - but the quartz thing + 500 dollars makes me want to spend it on a 500 $ automatic...

still i find the functions kinda cool commpass!

I've checked those out at the AD....Very cool!

My Tissot, also my only Quartz, has performed flawlessly since I got it, and the fit and finish is superb.....I compared it to the Tag Formula One which has the indentical ETA G10 movement, both Swiss Made, and the Tissot comes out to half the price!...Plus I think mine has a much more unique look.
