Just a couple of before and after pics of my Inge. I bought it from EL on the metal bracelet, and I liked it "OK", but it seemed a bit plain to me:

Part of the problem was the crystal was really reflective, and the texture on the dial tended to get washed out, causing the watch to lose some of it's character.

So, I sent off the crystal to get an AR coating on both sides (thanks chieftang!). In the meantime I ordered a nylon strap to try, figuring it would match and highlight the texture of the dial. And that's exactly what happened. Got the Crystal back yesterday, re-assembled everything, put on the new strap, and I really love the watch for the first time since I've owned it. The texture of the dial really "pops" in person, and it just has much more presence on the wrist now:

Unfortunately the pics don't quite capture the magnitude of the change, but the overall "feel" of the watch is now much, much closer to the gen.

Hi,
I must ask this - how hard was it to put the strap on?
I have the AMG Chrono, with the extra nylon strap, but I just can't get one of the nylon straps to fit on - the pin just won't go all the way through (as if I can't align the other side of the band with the pin...)
I can get one part on (the one with the buckle if it makes a difference) but not the other one...
I can get the pin in the wach / band separately with no problem, so the holes are more or less aligned...
If you had similar difficulty and came up with an inginious way to overcome it I'll be very glad to hear...

Oh - and great mod BTW!

Thanks.

Thanks all :)

The holes in the strap are too small, try enlarging them a little bit by pushing something like a very small screwdriver through them. Then getting the strap on is a lot easier.

From Josh, I had it sent with the HBB and 2 Navi's I ordered at the same time. But I think most of the dealers have it, it's actually really well made and very nice. The only thing I noticed were some areas of small discoloration around the lug hole area, but a black sharpie cleaned that up very nicely indeed. I'm extremely happy with the strap, it's at least as good quality as the bracelet.

OK i have been looking for someone to do an AR coating on my bentley crystal. If you can help me get in contact with someone to get it done i would really appreciate it. I just think it makes a huge difference.

First time I ever looked at this watch because of the size. and I have to say that I love it. It kinda reminds me of an AP.
