OK, so I have decided to open up a moneybookers account today, because davidsen, ruby and many other dealers do not take any other forms of payment. So the question I have for US moneybooker users is what is the best way to transfer money into your account. It says that I must initiate a bank wire transfer with my bank. Is this the only way to do it by calling up my bank? Why no direct deposit?

Also, has anyone used the credit card yet? Im ok with paying $1.90 per $100 transferred in, as long as I don't get cash advance charges as well. I noticed also that you can not do more than $329 in any 60 day period, which doesnt cover the watch I want? Any US users help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have an account linked to my AMEX. Abot the same limit you mention. It goes up slowly.

I believe performing a bank transfer will just increase your outgoing total allowed, but not the CC transfer total. I hope I am wrong on this one. The bank wire will cost you though. I will do one in the future, but unless your really going to transfer some reasonable amount of money, its not worth it due to the transfer fee from your bank.

I can't answer why there is no direct deposit.

Regards,

R

I also linked it to my AMEX not bank account since I wouldn't be receiving money anyway.

A tip: Calculate the fees very carefully, the percentages that is, I don't remember exactly but there were two types of fees I'm guessing one to fund and one to send... otherwise you'll end up with a useless $2 in your account wasted like me... :x
