I would recomend Rocky Patel or Carlos Torano.

Both of these guys make a lot of great cigars it is hard to go wrong with them.

cuban montechristo # 2

i used to bring them for friends from germany to the US...until they seized 2 cases of them once....
each case cost me tax free in germany 230 USD....
i talked my way out of getting fined....what a stupid ban...

I agree with this but since you are new to cigars get the Rocky Patel Connecticut and the Torano "casa torano" both very good, mild side but flavorful, won't turn you green

Agreed.....try something mild as suggested above and you'll find that your taste will change rather rapidly...if you have a local tabacconist walkin and talk with him and he'll steer you in the right direction as well and begin to educate yourself on the diffences in countries of origin ,honduran, nicaraguan, dominican etc....us puro lovers don't want to lose you and herfin a full bodied stick may turn you off as a noob.

cigarbid as suggested .....be careful....you will easily run thru your rep $$$ on that site....it is a fantastic place with a good forum to learn about what could become your new obcession!!! the deals are amazing and the sampler packs are what your after....it is responsible for my first "coolerdor" 4'x2'.....honestly, as many will attest to, it is a great way to relax and ponder less important things.

save the bands of the sticks you like and toss the ones you don't,it''s an easy way to keep track of your progress

hope this helps

beads all the way....what i've found is the plastic walls don't absorb moisture obviously like the cedar does in a humidor and you really don't lose that much moisture in these big horses. man i'm just aging sticks in there...and you know age makes all the difference.....yeah , i experienced cigarbid.com head on.....apply directly to your wallet
